The Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation’s library has about 40,000 titles specialised in modern Arabic literature. These cover short stories, novels, plays, poems, human studies, literary studies, criticism, biographies, religion, philosophy, history, geography, bibliography, literary encyclopaedia as well as translated works into Arabic and periodicals.  

The library is aimed at spreading cultural and intellectual public consciousness. The library welcomes visitors from Saturday to Wednesday, 9 am- 1 pm and 5 pm- 8 pm, and provides them with a calm reading hall. A dedicated cultural assistant will guide visitors through directories to help them find the books they want. Currently, external borrowing is not allowed.
