10th Sharjah Poetry Forum to Kick off Today

 Under the patronage and attendance of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the activities of the Sharjah Poetry Forum in its 10th edition will kick off at 8pm, on Sunday evening, February 5, 2012, at the Sharjah Cultural Palace. The six-day Forum hosts 40 poets and critics, who will present their poetry and discuss critical issues through the activities of the Forum.
Moreover, the Forum will honor poet Mohammed Najuib Murad, who will receive the Sharjah Prize for Arabic Poetry, and will also award the same prize to the late poet Mohammed Khalifa Bin Hadher; the prize will be received by one of his sons. The 10th Sharjah Poetry Forum sees the participation of the following poets: Mohammed Najuib Murad (Syria), Haidar Mahmoud (Jordan), Ibrahim Bou Malha (UAE), Mohammed Abdul Muttalib (Egypt), Dr. Mohammed Muftah (Morocco), Dr. Saeed Kleib (Syria), Ibrahim Nasrallah (Jordan), Abdullah Al Hadiya (UAE), Abdul Nasser Hassan (Egypt), Dr. Iyad Abdul Majuid (Iraq), Dr. Nabeel Al Muheishi (KSA), Khalid Ali Moustafa (Palestine), Hassan Al Matroushi (Oman), Al Munsif Al Muzghini (Tunis), Khulood Al Mu'ala (UAE), Dr. Mohammed Salah Abu Humaida (Palestine), Dr. Al Munsif Al Wahaibi (Tunis), Dr. Raed Jameel Okasha (Jordan), Dr. Nabeel Qassab Bashi (Syria), Mohammed Abu Al Majd (Egypt), Babakr Al Waseela (Sudan), Mahmoud Nour (UAE), Talal Salem (UAE), Abdul Razzaq Abdul Wahid (Iraq), Haidar Mahmoud (Jordan), and Munsif Al Wahaibi (Tunis).
