New Book: Fatima Bint Mubarak; The Leader - The Icon New from the ultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation

The Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation has issued a new book entitled "The Mother of the UAE .. Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak; The Leader - The Icon" to mark the occasion of Her Highness receiving the Cultural and Scientific Achievement Award in the 11th Session of the Al Owais Awards. The book which was prepared by Mr. Abdul Ilah Abdul Qadi, the Foundation's Executive Director, includes numerous details about Her Highness, as well as her achievements in the UAE and abroad. The book is supported by relevant and appropriate documentation and references, and dozens of photographs that highlight Her Highness' major achievements on the local and Arab levels.
The forward, written by the Award's General Secretariat, notes: "It is a tribute that has come at the right time and the right place; and it gives the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais great honor to pay tribute to a woman who is considered one of the country's icons and a national beacon that shines its light on local and regional horizons.
Granting the Cultural & Scientific Achievements Award to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak did not come from a vacuum; it was a decision imposed by the personality itself in light of the numerous and expansive achievements in the fields of women's causes, education, children, those with special needs, and various humanitarian issues.
Her Highness's achievements in these fields extended further afield to encompass the Arab world and the world as a whole. The Mother of the UAE played a key role in addressing each of these fields and introduced initiatives that clearly impacted them all, and women received Her Highness' attention and patronage.
Her Highness' path has given birth to achievements that contribute to improving the lives of women at home and abroad; this UAE woman has occupied positions of great leadership as a minister and a deputy in the National Council.
This is the long and exceptional story of a woman who has dedicated her life from her first moments of awareness to serve humanitarian issues. This is a woman worthy of being honored, and worthy of our pride, too. Her path and achievements demand such a tribute, this just and fair tribute, which adds the distinctive name of a distinguished woman to the extraordinary list of innovators."
The book is 124 pages long and is distributed free of charge by Al Owais Foundation.
