The delegation was received by Abdul Ilah Abdul Qadir, the Executive Director of the foundation, who also gave the delegation a brief introduction on Emirati poet, the late Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais, and of the foundation itself and its role in serving Arab culture. The guests toured the foundation premises and became acquainted with its various departments. At the end of the visit, the head of the visiting delegation presented their hosts with a commutative plate and symbolic gifts representing the history of the city of Luxor. In its turn, Al Owais presented its visitors with a selection of books authored by Al Owais Foundation award winners.
The Egyptian delegation also visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai. After touring the various departments at the center, the delegation met with Mr. Juma Al Majid in his office where they held a meaningful dialogue concerning the center’s mission, vision, and the projects implemented on the ground and those planned for the future.
