• Attained his BA in Education, 1945 and BA in Literature, 1948.
• Did his PhD from Sorbonne in 1954.
• Taught in high schools between 1945 and 1947.
• Combined tradition and modernity in his studies and works.

   

Ali Jawad Al Taher presented academic literary studies, which take into consideration careful judgement, and looked at particles to get a full coherent structure, he combined cultural studies and modern literal studies this is revealed in his books An Introduction to Literally Criticism and A Study of Free Poetry and Culture. In all his studies, he was committed to academic methods.
